Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls (BGLIG; AKA Big League)
The Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls (BGLIG) is 100 Hispanic Women’s most recent accomplishment.

BGLIG, established in 2008, is a dual language charter school located in the Bronx, New York. It currently offers classes for students grade K-2, and will expand to K-5 by 2013.

Our goal however, is to eventually have a school that will go through the 8th grade. BGLIG offers an education that not only encourages children of all ethnicities and backgrounds to read, write and speak fluent Spanish; it also aims to develop their potential in music and the arts. At BGLIG, our girls begin violin and ballet lessons, both of which are integrated into their daily curriculum as early as Kindergarten.
