Named after our founder, Shirley Rodriguez: Remeneski, this program was created in partnership with the Office of University Relations of The City University of New York (CUNY) with goals to prepare young Latinas to become professionally skilled, to help them identify an effective strategy to succeed and create social change and to help them meet the challenges of leading the 21st Century.
In partnership with CUNY and several long-term sponsors, the 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. has developed a graduate scholarship program. This unique program's mission is to assist women who wish to continue their education to the graduate level by offering scholarships to eligible graduate students. The criteria will require full-time enrollment and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Founded in 2002, it aims to enrich the college experience of motivated Latina students enrolled full-time in a four-year City University of New York College with a maintained GPA of 3.0 or higher. The program requires the scholars to participate in 100 Hispanic Women National, Inc. educational programs and activities and to remain active leaders among their peers.
